About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Care Scheduler to join our team in Wakefield. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for creating efficient and compliant staff rotas using a computer-based roster system.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring all records and rotas are up-to-date, compliant with organisational and legal requirements, and accurately reflect service user and staff information, including absences, annual leave, and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce Staff Rotas in advance: Utilise your expertise to create well-planned runs that are geographically aligned with our workforce.
  • Manage referrals: Be the first point of contact for all new care package referrals, completing the referral tracker, and optimising workforce capacity.
  • Future workforce planning: Collaborate with our Recruitment Team to utilise our extensive talent pools.
Requirements
  • Driving Licence and Transport: Must be a driver with your own transport.
  • Experience: Previous experience in rota management and scheduling, and a proven track record in coordinating within a domiciliary care setting.
  • Qualifications: Hold a Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,400 per annum, plus benefits including generous bonus scheme, 24 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and free parking.
