**About the Role:**

We are seeking a seasoned Food Safety Manager to join our Fresh Kitchen team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in our production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage the site quality team and provide coaching and guidance to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular product shelf life surveillance testing and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure that all company suppliers are brought into the business in a controlled manner and officially audited or assessed on a predetermined basis.
  • Manage the regular review of the Company's GMP and hygiene quality within the production environment.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Food Science or Technology or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum HACCP level 3 certification.
  • Previous experience in a high-risk food production environment.
