Portering Manager Leader

This is a challenging and rewarding role that offers opportunities for career development and growth. As a Portering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of porters and working closely with other departments to deliver high-quality patient care services.
You will provide effective leadership, develop policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with Trust regulations. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential for this role.
The successful candidate will have experience managing large workforces, dealing with patients and the public, and supervising or managing teams in Support Service areas.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide effective leadership to the Portering Team, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Support and collaborate with the Resilience Team and Department Managers during risk assessments/audits.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Trust policies and regulations.
- Manage staff sickness/absence, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
- GCSE standard or equivalent education.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft package knowledge.
- Health and Safety qualification.
- Leadership and management skills.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organisational and time management skills.
Salary: £25,500 - £28,500 per annum.
