Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation
  • Conduct regular visual hazard checks of the kitchen and report any issues to the supervisor
  • Clean and maintain all equipment, utensils, crockery, and glassware throughout the service
  • Correctly dispose of rubbish and recyclables
  • Clean and tidy the kitchen throughout the service
  • Use chemicals correctly, following COSHH guidelines
  • Wear correct PPE at all times, including blue trousers, tops, and safety shoes
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness to EHO standards
  • Report broken or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor immediately
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
