Support Staff Assistant

Job Summary:We're recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work on behalf of a lovely school in Islington. This is a Full time position where you will undertake General TA duties such as getting the classroom and work set up for the mornings, assisting with anything the class teacher needs assistance with, as well as working on a 1:1 or small group basis with children who have varying additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confident working on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Experience providing support to children who have a range of additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Challenging behaviour when required
Requirements:
- Creative and engaging approach to learning
- Able to monitor and provide feedback on learning and progress
- Ability to create interactive activities to keep them involved and interested
