Job Title: SEN Support Specialist

ClassRoom Support is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Specialist to join our inclusive and diverse school community. The successful candidate will provide essential support to students with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they have equal access to education and opportunities to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with SEN students, providing personalised support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create inclusive learning activities and resources tailored to the needs of SEN students.
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) for students with special educational needs.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported.

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with children and young people with additional needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Experience related to supporting individuals with SEN would be advantageous.
  • An understanding of diversity and inclusion, with a commitment to promoting equal opportunities for all students.
