Education Support Specialist Opportunity

Our partner school in Islington is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Support Specialist to join their supportive school community. This role is perfect for individuals eager to gain valuable hands-on experience and work closely with students who need extra support in their learning journey.

  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist the class teacher with classroom management and behaviour strategies.
  • Support students in developing their social and emotional skills.
  • Engage with students to boost their confidence and create a positive learning environment.
  • Gain insight into behaviour management, inclusive teaching practices, and personalized learning.

Requirements

  • A degree in Psychology (or related subject).
  • A genuine interest in education and working with students who have additional needs.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A proactive, adaptable attitude and a desire to make a positive impact.
  • Interest in a future career in teaching, educational psychology, or SEN support.
