Customer Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join our team at Mumford & Worrall Ltd. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of any issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Planning, Production, and Quality, to ensure comprehensive understanding of order status.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delays or issues, managing their expectations and resolving complaints in a professional manner.
  • Respond to and resolve customer enquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with logistics and courier companies to arrange shipments and manage demo stock availability.
  • Attend daily and weekly production meetings to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Run weekly open order books for each customer and distribute accordingly.
  • Process invoices and credits on a weekly basis, ensuring optimal position by month end.
  • Work closely with the Inside Sales Team to achieve business KPIs.
  • Engage in process improvement and change projects to drive business growth.
  • Cover spare parts and maintain flexible working hours to meet business needs.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales order processing, and working in a close team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • High level of attention to detail and order inputting.
  • Ideal experience working in a manufacturing environment.
