Mumford & Worrall Ltd is a leading manufacturer with a global presence, boasting an extensive sales and service network across the industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Coordinator to join our team on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and they receive exceptional service.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, meeting deadlines and expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Planning, Production, and Quality, to ensure comprehensive understanding of order status.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delays or issues, managing their expectations and resolving concerns.
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Coordinate with logistics and courier companies to arrange shipments and manage demo stock availability.
- Attend daily and weekly production meetings to stay informed and contribute to team discussions.
- Run weekly open order books for each customer and distribute accordingly.
- Process invoices and credits on a weekly basis, ensuring optimal position by month-end.
- Work with the Inside Sales Team to achieve business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in process improvement and change projects to drive business growth.
- Cover spare parts and maintain flexible working hours to meet business needs.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by your Manager.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, sales order processing, and working in a close team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- High level of attention to detail and order inputting.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
