Job Title: Financial Planning Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Consultant to join our team at Cornmarket Group Financial Services Ltd. As a Financial Planning Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing expert financial advice to public sector employees and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make and take calls to/from members of the public sector unions to arrange appointments with our financial consultants.
  • Book quality appointments with a high probability of completing a Financial Health Check (FHC) and potential sales.
  • Provide advice and sell group protection policies to clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date records for clients on Salesforce.
  • Lead generation through promotion of other Cornmarket products/services.
Requirements:
  • Full or partial QFA desired but not required.
  • Previous experience in dealing with customers over the phone.
  • Ability to upsell products.
  • Keen eye for detail and quality.
  • Excellent proven customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to deal with the unexpected.
  • Strong IT skills with good working knowledge of the MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of risk control & regulatory environment.
  • Commercial awareness.

This role is a 'controlled function' as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that the appointee meets the requirements as set out in the Fitness and Probity standards issued by the Central Bank. This requires the company to complete prescribed due diligence to assess the appointee's fitness and probity.
