Clinical Psychologist Job Description

Clinical Partners Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team at the Oxford ADHD Centre. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in providing neurodevelopmental and cognitive assessments to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and score cognitive assessments, with a primary focus on the WISC for children and WAIS for adults.
  • Diagnose, confer, and work with our ADOS-2 and ADI-R clinicians to provide comprehensive assessments.
  • Report writing and documentation of assessment procedures, results, and interpretations.
  • Conduct thorough clinical interviews to gather relevant information about individuals' history, development, and current functioning.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, complying with ethical and legal standards.
  • Effectively communicate assessment results to patients and their families.
Requirements:
  • Current HCPC Registration
  • At least 3 years experience post qualification in a similar position
  • Training and relevant experience in conducting cognitive assessments in WISC and WAIS
  • Evidence of Indemnity Insurance
  • Training and relevant experience in ADI-R / ADOS
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS check (less than 3 years old)
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • Evidence of recent Safeguarding training - Level 2 or above
