School Nurse

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic School Staff Nurse to join our progressive team in North Kent. As a key member of our community-based care team, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of children and families in our local community.
Main DutiesAs a School Staff Nurse, you will work closely with local schools to provide high-quality care and support to children aged 5-19. Your clinical expertise and judgment will be essential in developing and implementing evidence-based care plans that meet the unique needs of each child and family.
You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that children and families receive comprehensive and coordinated care. Your ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues will be essential in building strong relationships and delivering excellent patient care.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a qualified and experienced School Staff Nurse who possesses the following skills and qualifications:
- Registered Health Care Professional with relevant Professional body (NMC) NMC Registered Nurse or Midwife
- Experience of recent community/acute healthcare gained through education or work experience placement or previous employment
- Awareness of professional issues, up to date clinical practice and recent developments in the NHS
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to organise own work, Ability to cope with change and Ability to use own initiative
