Stephen James Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Nursing Home Manager to lead their key elderly care client in Colne, Lancashire.

This 45-bedded home provides dementia, nursing, palliative, and respite care, embracing the local community into its daily life.

The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to the care home team, monitoring their performance and driving continuously improving outcomes for residents.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing a large staff team to drive quality care and support for residents.
  2. Ensuring timely notifications to regulatory bodies, including the CQC, Health and Safety Executive, and Local Authority safeguarding team.
  3. Collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality care and support.
  4. At least 3 years management experience in a nursing or dementia setting.
  5. Proven track record of service improvement with excellent commercial acumen.
  6. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
