Self-Employed Mortgage Broker Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Self-Employed Mortgage Broker to join our team at Kings Permanent Recruitment for Estate Agents and Financial Services Professionals. As a self-employed mortgage broker, you will have the opportunity to work independently while having the support of a reputable company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough financial assessments of clients to determine their mortgage needs and provide expert advice on suitable mortgage products.
  • Liaise with lenders to secure the best mortgage products for clients and build strong relationships with clients to ensure their mortgage needs are met.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, products, and regulations to provide the highest level of service to clients.
  • Work closely with the admin support team to ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with real estate agents and other professionals to generate leads and referrals.
Requirements:
  • Must have the full CeMAP qualification and strong knowledge of mortgage products and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and mortgage software.
We Offer:
  • A flexible working pattern with the option to work from offices in Surrey, remotely from home, or a hybrid of the two.
  • A competitive OTE of £50,000 - £60,000+ subject to performance.
  • Admin support to assist with paperwork and client management, subject to performance.
  • Guidance and support offered from experienced Directors and the existing sales team.
  • Leads provided by the company, with the option to pay for an additional or alternative lead source.
