About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at The Ivy Collection. As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests, while also contributing to the growth and development of our kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of menus and dishes.
  • Oversee the kitchen team, ensuring that all staff are working efficiently and effectively to meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas, while maintaining the high standards of The Ivy Collection.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control, ensuring that all ingredients and supplies are available when needed.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and other senior chefs to develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Strong culinary skills, with a focus on creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
