Job Title: Deputy Service Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Service Manager to support the management of refuge services for women and children who have experienced domestic abuse. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high standards of housing management and service provision, working closely with the Service Manager to meet funding and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing refuge services for women and children, ensuring high-quality support in line with operational policies.
- Provide supervision and line management to staff, overseeing complex casework, and ensuring that all services are delivered to a high standard.
- Work closely with the Service Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and meet funding and contractual obligations.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure that refuge services are delivered in a safe and effective manner.

Requirements:
- Experience of working in a refuge or similar setting, with a strong understanding of the issues surrounding domestic abuse.
- Proven ability to manage complex casework and provide supervision and line management to staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and external agencies.
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing priorities and demands.
