About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Children's Worker to join our team at Derbyshire County Council. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic care and support to children and young people, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner services to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Embed the therapeutic ethos of Derbyshire Residential Services within the homes, promoting the physical, emotional, and social development of our residents.
  • Hold a Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce Diploma and Social Care Pathway (England) or equivalent qualification.

Requirements
