The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in designing complex systems and equipment. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs that meet the required scope, quality, schedule, and budget.
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
About the Role- Design and develop mechanical systems, including fresh water, demineralised water, and radioactive effluent processing.
- Design and develop industrial gas systems, including low and high-pressure air, and welding gases.
- Design and develop mechanical building services.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports.
- A degree in an appropriate engineering discipline, such as mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartered status.
- At least 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering design and development.
- Strong knowledge of CAD software, including SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
