Cost Management Specialist Job Description

Skilled Careers is seeking a highly motivated Cost Management Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Cost Management Specialist, you will play a key role in overseeing cost management for reactive maintenance projects in North London.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee cost management for reactive maintenance projects
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender documentation
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure projects are on track
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve any issues
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Produce accurate financial reports and manage budgets effectively

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Financial Controller, ideally within the social housing or reactive maintenance sectors
  • Strong knowledge of cost management and financial reporting processes
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards
