We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Junior Accounts Payable specialist to join our accounting and finance department working full time from our office. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of financial systems, and a passion for the property industry.

Our company is a privately-owned real estate and property management group, employing around 50 people. Our portfolio boasts over 900 properties based in South East England, Hull and Leicester with an approximate value of £650 million.

Description
  • Inputting supplier invoices into the Invoice Register system
  • Downloading utility invoices from supplier portals
  • Reviewing coding and purchase orders
  • Distributing invoices to property managers for approval
  • Liaising with property managers on the approval process
  • Scanning and filing of invoices into Qube system
Job Requirements

A successful Junior Accounts Payable specialist should possess:

  • A degree or equivalent certification in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive approach to work, with a willingness to learn and develop
