Job Description:

As a Data Centre Technician, you will provide ICT support to Primary Schools in Essex, working on-site and remotely. Your primary goal is to ensure seamless technical operations, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

About the Role:

This position requires an enthusiastic individual with a proven understanding of Windows 10/11 desktop and server knowledge. At least two years of previous experience is essential, along with a willingness to learn new skills and work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing excellent Windows 10/11 desktop support and deployment skills
  • Troubleshooting network issues
  • Maintaining group policy knowledge
  • Aptitude for Apple/Google deployment knowledge (an advantage)

Requirements:

An ideal candidate must possess a full UK driving licence, as regular site visits are required. A clean driving record is also essential.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is negotiable, depending on experience, but ranges between £28,000 - £33,000 per annum. This will be pro-rata, initially starting at three days a week, with the possibility of increasing to full-time hours.

Working Conditions:

This position may suit both PAYE and self-employed individuals, although company work will take priority. Regular DBS checks will be conducted, ensuring we maintain a safe and secure environment for our customers.
