About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Geophysical Engineer to join our team on our multi-role survey vessels, where you will be responsible for the maintenance, deployment, and recovery of geophysical equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all geophysical equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to ensure accurate data acquisition.
- Deploy and recover geophysical equipment, including seismic and other geophysical sensors, in accordance with company procedures.
- Perform electrical and mechanical testing and inspections of geophysical equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new geophysical survey techniques and procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient survey operations.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: A degree in an engineering or scientific field, preferably with a focus on geophysics or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in geophysical operations, with a strong understanding of geophysical equipment and procedures.
- Skill: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
