About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Acoustic Expert to join our team at Boskalis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to utilise their knowledge of acoustics and software packages in a marine environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide acoustic modelling support using Python, MATLAB, or similar software packages.
  • Contribute to the development of marine acoustic equipment and mitigation functions.
  • Manage technical projects, including survey design and mobilisation planning.
  • Advise on legislative compliance and promote company QA and HSSE procedures.

About You

  • You will have a BEng/BSc degree in a relevant discipline, such as Acoustics, Engineering Electronics & Mechanical, or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior role, preferably in acoustics or geophysical engineering.
  • Excellent knowledge of acoustics hardware and software, with proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of around £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
