About the RoleWe are looking for a Consultant Diagnostic Neuroradiologist who can provide expert imaging services, develop specialist skills, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the provision of a high-quality, consultant-led diagnostic neuroradiology imaging service, sharing in the 24/7 cover of the service, and developing specialist skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and support regional tertiary services.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the provision of a high-quality, consultant-led diagnostic neuroradiology imaging service.
- Share in the 24/7 cover of the service, including on call on a rota basis.
- Develop specialist skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and support regional tertiary services.
- Provide clinical supervision and professional management of radiology trainees.
- Full GMC Registration.
- Completed general training in Radiology and Diagnostic Neuroradiology at specialist level in a recognised centre.
- Experience and skills in a subspecialist area of neuroradiology and willingness to develop these aspects further.
- Ability to work within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Enthusiasm for teaching and training.
- Understanding of and willingness to participate in clinical governance and audit activities.
