About the Role

Safran Landing Systems is a leading provider of aircraft landing and braking systems, committed to safer and more sustainable aviation. We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Engineer to join our team, reporting to the Quality Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain the internal audit program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement the supplier audit program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and purchase order requirements.
  • Support Operations in ensuring robust containment, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provide coaching and support to all areas of the business on quality systems, procedures, and processes.
  • Support the development and implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS) across the business.
  • Support SLS Management during internal and external audits and manage the ETQ audit report system.
  • Provide coaching on quality tools, including PDCA and root cause analysis, and support the facilitation of Human Factors training.
  • Assist with the compilation and presentation of Policy Deployment.
  • Manage and undertake internal and external audits as required.
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing supplier performance and executing supplier audits.
  • Compile the Balance Score Card (BSC) for Corporate.
  • Manage the SLS documentation system (OSR).

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role within an aerospace AS9110/AS 9100 environment.
  • Internal Audit qualification to a recognized standard.
  • A good understanding of EASA Part 145 and other aerospace regulations.
  • Experience working with internal teams and customers, managing complaints, and problem-solving with root cause analysis.
  • Experience dealing with regulatory authorities.
  • Knowledge and experience in quality improvement and relevant tools (PDCA, root cause analysis).
  • Lean skills/experience such as Kaizen and 5S is highly desirable.
  • Confident, driven, excellent communicator with a hands-on approach.
  • Strong statistical and analytical skills.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility within the Quality Team to cover other job responsibilities.
