**Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Leading Consultant in Neurocritical Care Services to join our multidisciplinary team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Intensive Care Medicine, with a strong focus on neurointensive care.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional clinical leadership skills, with the ability to provide high-quality patient care and lead a team of healthcare professionals. They will also have expertise in critical care delivery, including neurosciences, and be able to develop and implement new clinical pathways or services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team delivering Critical Care services
  • Engage in associated Service Development, Clinical Governance, and Quality Improvement work
  • Contribute to the education and supervision of students and trainees
  • Support Directorate-wide Research activities
  • Contribute to the clinical management of the base unit

Person Specification

The successful candidate will hold specialist registration (within the next 6 months) and a valid license to practise with the General Medical Council. They will also have evidence of successful completion of a formal training program in Intensive Care Medicine, as well as Enhanced training/experience in neurointensive care and a track record of clinical interest in this subspecialty area.

Salary Information

The salary for this role is £104,917 - £154,161 per annum, inclusive of a generous annual bonus scheme. This position offers a competitive remuneration package, reflecting the importance of this role within our trust.
