Financial Control Specialist

The role of Audit Manager within our Group Operational Audit function is pivotal in ensuring the effectiveness of operational controls and compliance with policies and regulations. As a seasoned professional, you will plan, execute, and complete audits to assess the design and functionality of operational and financial controls.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and Conducting Audits: Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of relevant operational and financial controls.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential risk areas and develop solutions to mitigate these issues, ensuring the overall risk management framework remains robust.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with functions across the group to enhance the risk management framework and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Support a high-performing operational audit team, promoting a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
About You:
- Relevant Experience: You possess experience in external/internal audit and risk management, with a deep understanding of internal audit methodologies, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, senior management, and external stakeholders to drive results and achieve business objectives.
- Educational Background: Hold a relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or a professional certification.
