Job Summary
The Indoor Account Manager will be responsible for proactively managing an existing customer base, building strong relationships with customers to retain their loyalty and develop each account through sales and high-level service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement account plans to support revenue and contribution targets
- Maintain and update customer information via sales and customer relationship management systems
- Develop multi-functional and multi-level business relationships with customers and their organizations
- Identify and develop additional revenue opportunities within the portfolio and associated companies
- Maintain an up-to-date revenue opportunity pipeline
- Monitor customer profitability and profile to ensure accounts are trading within acceptable levels
- Identify and manage customer problems to secure long-term account retention
- Complete annual price increases for all accounts within the portfolio
- Work with sales teams to accept accounts for handover in line with company policies and trading agreements
Requirements
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
- Demonstrable experience in account management or customer relationship management
- Natural ability to engage with customers and deliver outstanding customer service
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to adapt and respond to change quickly
- Good mathematical skills to support pricing and costing for customers
