Job Title: Indoor Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indoor Account Manager to join our team at DPD Group UK. As an Indoor Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customers, building strong relationships with them, and driving revenue growth through sales and high-level service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage a portfolio of 800+ customers, each spending up to £700 per week with DPD or DPD Local.
  • Develop and implement account plans to support revenue growth and contribution targets.
  • Maintain and update customer information via SalesForce and other systems.
  • Develop multi-functional and multi-level business relationships with customers and their organizations.
  • Identify and develop additional revenue opportunities within the portfolio and its associated companies.
  • Maintain an up-to-date revenue opportunity pipeline.
  • Monitor the profitability and profile of each customer to ensure the account is trading within acceptable levels.
  • Identify and manage the resolution of customer problems to secure long-term account retention.
  • Contact customers to maintain planned levels of revenue/contribution improvement through timely rate renewals.
  • Complete Annual Price Increases for all accounts within your portfolio.
  • Work with the sales teams to accept accounts for handover in line with company policies and trading agreements.
Requirements:
  • Passionate about delivering amazing service every day.
  • Demonstrable experience within Account Management/Customer Relationship Management.
  • Natural ability to engage with customers over the phone and via email, delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt and respond to change quickly.
  • Good mathematical skills to support work around pricing and costing for customers.
  • Decisive and effective decision-making in a time-pressured environment.
  • High levels of resilience, self-motivation, and flexibility.
  • Knowledge and experience in sales and upselling to existing customers.
  • Attention to detail and good organization skills.
  • IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite applications and SalesForce.
  • Ability to liaise with customers using telephone and online meeting resources, as well as email.
