Safety, Health and Environment Officer Role



We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Safety, Health and Environment Officer. This exciting opportunity is available at an established industry leader in waste management and recycling services.



Reporting to the SHEQ Lead, you will play a key role in promoting a positive health and safety culture across our site in Wrexham. Your responsibilities will include:




  2. Providing practical advice and support to staff at all levels on health and safety matters.
  3. Helping to manage and deliver the Health, Safety & Environment plan and objectives for the site.
  4. Supporting with the induction and training of new staff members, liaising with external contractors as required.


To be successful in this role, you will have:




  2. Some experience working in a health, safety and environment role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  3. A strong understanding of relevant health and safety legislation, ideally backed by a NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent).
  4. An excellent technical knowledge base that enables you to provide expert guidance and support.
