Vivienne Westwood seeks an HR professional to cultivate a positive workplace culture aligned with our values. As People Officer, you will provide HR support, manage employee queries, and ensure processes comply with employment law.



Responsibilities


  • Employee Queries & Support: Provide timely and accurate HR support, guiding employees on policies and procedures.
  • Absence & Time Tracking: Log and monitor employee absences, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the full onboarding and offboarding process, including preparing contracts and conducting exit interviews.
  • Intern and Work Experience Programs: Coordinate and oversee internship and work experience programs, including onboarding and support.
  • Recruitment Support: Provide administrative support with recruitment activities, including job postings and interview scheduling.
  • Payroll & Expense Support: Support payroll activities as needed, ensuring employee information is accurately maintained for timely processing.
  • Employee Life Cycle Administration: Support across the employee lifecycle, including scheduling inductions and maintaining accurate records.
  • Meeting Support: Take accurate and confidential notes during meetings as required, ensuring follow-ups and documentation are well-maintained.
  • Policy & Procedure Support: Assist with the implementation and communication of company policies, contributing to a well-informed and compliant workplace.
  • HR Projects & Initiatives: Support on HR projects, including initiatives in employee wellbeing, ED&I, and engagement.


Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience in a similar HR or administrative role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software/database management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to present information effectively.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with payroll, ATS, and HR systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
