Facilities and Property Management Director

Honsham District Council is seeking a skilled professional to lead the property facilities team. This role involves assuming responsibility for the council's portfolios, ensuring properties are kept in good condition through planned maintenance, coordinating life cycle plans, and overseeing service contracts. The successful candidate will have excellent facilities management experience, a strong understanding of carbon net zero principles, and a background related to construction or property management.
About You
To succeed in this role, you must be committed to delivering an excellent service and be commercially driven. You will have a history of managing teams, mentoring trainees, and capability in tendering and letting maintenance and construction contracts. Additionally, you should have great customer service and negotiation skills, membership of the RICS, and a full UK driving license.
