Job Title: Vehicle Installation Electrician

Wrightbus is seeking a skilled Vehicle Installation Electrician to join our team in Production. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation and testing of chassis and body electrical control systems, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comply with the company's health and safety policy and procedures, ensuring the workshop policies are adhered to.
  • Ensure that work carried out meets the Wrightbus agreed quality standard and adheres to all quality sign offs and procedures.
  • Install and modify vehicle wiring harnesses and components as detailed in the contract build documentation.
  • Terminate various automotive and high voltage connections up to 800V AC or DC.
  • Test and commission the vehicle electrical system as per Quality Assurance documentation.
  • Fault find and repair the vehicle electrical system using bespoke diagnostic software.
  • Ensure installation is completed in accordance with the allocated process time.
  • Undertake any training or retraining associated with the post, or introduction of new working practices or engineering changes, including the training of others.
Requirements:
  • Must be prepared to work overtime when requested by management.
  • General data protection and confidentiality must be maintained.
