Job Title: Vehicle Installation Electrician

Wrightbus is seeking a skilled Vehicle Installation Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for the installation and testing of chassis and body electrical control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and test electrical control systems in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Meet quality standards and adhere to Wrightbus agreed quality standards.
  • Install and modify vehicle wiring harnesses and components.
  • Terminate automotive and high voltage connections up to 800V AC or DC.
  • Test and commission vehicle electrical systems.
  • Fault find and repair vehicle electrical systems using bespoke diagnostic software.
  • Work efficiently to meet allocated process times.
Requirements:
  • Experience in electrical control systems installation and testing.
  • Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet quality standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
