Job Title: Vehicle Installation Electrician

Wrightbus is seeking a skilled Vehicle Installation Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for the installation and testing of electrical control systems in our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and test electrical control systems in accordance with customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform quality checks and sign-offs to ensure work meets Wrightbus standards.
  • Install and modify vehicle wiring harnesses and components as per contract build documentation.
  • Terminate automotive and high-voltage connections up to 800V AC or DC.
  • Test and commission vehicle electrical systems as per Quality Assurance documentation.
  • Fault-find and repair vehicle electrical systems using bespoke diagnostic software.
  • Work efficiently to meet allocated process times and be prepared to work overtime when requested.
Requirements:
  • High level of technical skill and knowledge in electrical systems installation and testing.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
