About Our Team

The Adult Autism Service at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality care to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).


Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Assessment: Conduct neuropsychological assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals with ASD.
  • Risk Management: Assess and manage risk for individuals with ASD, providing guidance to other professionals as needed.
  • Supervision and Mentorship: Supervise junior colleagues and provide guidance on clinical practice.
  • Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs for ASD team members and external stakeholders.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess a doctoral level qualification in clinical psychology, including experience in teaching or training, delivering specialist psychological assessment and treatment, and knowledge of legislation and current national guidelines in relation to the client group and mental health.
