Book Rights Executive

Company Overview:

We are a leading publisher of children's and young adult fiction, non-fiction, and reference books.

Role Summary:

As a Book Rights Executive, you will be responsible for negotiating and managing book rights for new and existing titles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and agree book rights with authors, agents, and other industry professionals
  • Manage contracts, agreements, and royalty payments related to book rights
  • Collaborate with the editorial and production teams to ensure smooth publication processes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the publishing industry
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in book publishing, literary agency, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of book rights, contracts, and royalty structures
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
