In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the health and well-being of our staff by delivering comprehensive occupational health services across various departments within the Trust.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on occupational health matters to both employees and management.
  • Conduct thorough health surveillance programs to identify potential risks and promote a safe working environment.
  • Assess individuals with diverse health concerns, providing timely and effective interventions.
  • Develop personalized client-centric plans to address specific health needs and promote well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement best practices in occupational health and safety.

Your Qualifications:

  • Possess a strong foundation of knowledge in occupational health principles and practices.
  • Demonstrate experience in leadership development or equivalent roles within a healthcare setting.
  • Hold a valid registration as a nurse/midwife with the relevant regulatory body.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of current trends in occupational health.

Your Experience:

  • Have a proven track record of post-registration experience in occupational health within the NHS.
  • Demonstrate experience in research and development initiatives related to occupational health.
  • Exhibit effective management skills, including leading change and facilitating staff training.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with diverse individuals.
