About the Role

ICF is seeking an experienced policy director to lead our work in farming, food, and environmental policies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering strategic growth, managing large framework contracts, and leading technical excellence and innovation in evaluation and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with senior managers to develop and implement strategic growth plans for the team
  • Manage large framework contracts, working with clients and research partners to deliver high-quality results
  • Lead and support technical excellence and innovation in evaluation and research, contributing knowledge and expertise in land, food, and agriculture policy areas
  • Direct projects to support project managers in delivering projects to time and budget, managing and mentoring staff and project teams as needed
  • Lead business development opportunities, building networks and partnerships to promote ICF's evaluation and research expertise and work
Requirements
  • Proven track record in delivering business growth and capacity building
  • Experience working with government at senior levels, with expertise in policy evaluation, research, and analysis
  • Demonstrable knowledge and interest in land management, agriculture, food chain, and environmental policies
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills, with highly developed interpersonal skills and self-motivation
