Job Title: Policy and Research Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy and Research Advisor to join our Strategic Partnerships Team within the Strategy, Equality and Partnerships Directorate.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on ground-breaking and important projects, making a significant contribution to the council's improvement priorities.

As a Policy and Research Advisor, you will be responsible for managing corporate strategic partnerships, driving the improvement of partnership working across the organisation, and providing policy advice to senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop expertise on good partnership working and provide briefings to senior leaders
  • Carry out research on key stakeholders and their perceptions of the council
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and external affairs
  • Engage with colleagues across diverse service areas and external stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in policy analysis and research, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

You must be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a commitment to developing and supporting the values and skills of partnership working.
