Housing Management Opportunity
BDS (Northern) Limited invites applications from seasoned professionals for the position of Scheme Manager. This critical role requires a highly organized individual to manage sheltered services for the over 55s in Cheshunt. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating property lettings, conducting regular health and safety checks, coordinating with external agencies, monitoring rent accounts, and addressing complaints regarding anti-social behaviour. Additionally, they will maintain strong partnerships with external support agencies and report communal area repairs.

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team as Scheme Manager and contribute to our mission. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar scheme management position, particularly within a sheltered or supported housing setting. A strong understanding of tenant and housing management, skilled in handling rent accounts, confident in conducting health and safety checks, and effective communication skills are essential. Collaborative working with external agencies to support tenants' needs is also vital.

What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of circa £14,500 per annum (PAYE) or £18,000 per annum (umbrella) and a temporary ongoing contract with a view to becoming permanent for the right candidate. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm or 4pm – 8am, and start date is ASAP.
