Job Title: Assistant Buyer - Groundworks & Civils

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Buyer to join our team in Ringwood. As an Assistant Buyer, you will be responsible for raising material purchase orders, updating supplier pricing, and liaising with site contacts to ensure smooth material delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raising Material Purchase Orders in COINs System
  • Up-dating supplier pricing in COINs System
  • Liaising material delivery information to site contacts
  • Checking and competing supplier invoices
  • Completing invoice query resolution and liaising information with purchase ledger team

Requirements:

  • Good Working Knowledge Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • The ability to prioritise and manage expectations
  • Excellent communication skills over telephone and email
  • Ability to communicate materials information to multiple departments
  • Knowledge of the COINs procurement system advantageous, though training will be given
