Technical Support Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Field Service Engineer at Coalesce Recruitment Limited, a leading independent laboratory equipment provider in Cambridgeshire.
About the PositionThis is an exciting opportunity for a mechanical aptitude holder with a proven track record of working within a field service / engineering capacity on laboratory equipment / instruments, medical equipment or dental equipment.
- Perform routine service, maintenance, calibration, repair and installation of laboratory equipment throughout Cambridgeshire.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Travel extensively, with overnight stays as required, to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Complete detailed service reports and calibration certificates.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid UK driving licence.
- Mechanical expertise and experience working with laboratory equipment.
- Strong written communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
We provide a competitive salary range of £36,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus:
- A company-provided vehicle.
- 20 days holiday, increasing to 25 days with continuous service.
- No weekend or bank holiday working or call-outs.
- A comprehensive pension scheme.
