About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Services Assistant to join our team at the Royal Berkshire Hotel. As a key member of our Front of House team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that every guest feels valued and cared for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized and attentive service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Support the reception and concierge teams in ensuring seamless guest experiences.
  • Host daily morning meetings with the Front of House team to discuss business and ensure everyone is aware of guest needs.
  • Check VIP rooms to ensure all hotel standards are met and amenities are in place.
  • Develop a passion for delivering excellent customer service and consistently strive to improve guest satisfaction.
  • Utilize computer literacy skills to effectively manage guest information and communicate with colleagues.
  • Maintain a clear, friendly, and professional telephone manner at all times.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in using technology to manage guest information.
