About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Custody Paramedic to join our team at HCRG Care Group. As a Custody Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality healthcare services to individuals detained by the police or other agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and provide care to individuals detained by the police or other agencies.
  • Provide healthcare interventions to manage minor illness or injury and refer onwards for more serious conditions.
  • Undertake forensic examinations of individuals in police care, including recording and providing opinions on cause of injuries and collecting DNA evidence.
  • Support the clinical governance agenda of the organisation.
  • Administer medications through patient group directions and patient treatment protocols.
