About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Custody Paramedic to join our team at HCRG Care Group. As a Custody Paramedic, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals detained by the police or other agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and provide care to individuals in police custody.
  • Provide healthcare interventions to manage minor illnesses or injuries and refer onwards for more serious conditions.
  • Undertake forensic examinations of individuals in police custody, including recording and providing opinions on cause of injuries and collecting DNA evidence.
  • Support the clinical governance agenda of the organisation.
  • Administer medications through patient group directions and patient treatment protocols.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated individual with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant field. You will need to be confident and able to make quick decisions, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
