Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our Family Services Team at St Wilfrid's Hospice. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our psychosocial services, ensuring high-quality interventions are delivered to patients and their loved ones.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. As Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing our psychosocial services, including counselling, social work, chaplaincy, and bereavement support
  • Managing a small caseload of complex palliative care cases
  • Providing senior leadership and operational management to the Family Support Team
  • Working in partnership with the Director of Clinical Services to identify opportunities for service development and improvement
Person Specification

We are looking for an experienced professional with:

  • Proven specialist psychosocial skills, knowledge, and evidence-based practice with direct or transferable application to palliative care
  • Experience of facilitating group activities and leading a therapeutic service
  • Experience of robust service evaluation, including the use of outcome measures
  • Registration with a relevant membership body
