About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our Family Services Team at St Wilfrid's Hospice. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our psychosocial services, ensuring high-quality interventions are delivered to patients and their loved ones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychosocial expertise and guidance to colleagues and the palliative care team.
  • Manage a small caseload of complex palliative care cases.
  • Lead on user involvement and engagement to ensure hospice services are person-centred and tailored to the needs of our local community.
  • Work in partnership with the Director of Clinical Services to develop the Family Support Team and improve access and quality of life for palliative patients and their loved ones.
Requirements
  • Proven specialist psychosocial skills, knowledge, and evidence-based practice with direct or transferable application to palliative care.
  • Experience of facilitating group activities and leading a therapeutic service.
  • Experience of robust service evaluation, including the use of outcome measures.
  • Registered with a relevant membership body.
