Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Logistics and Contracts Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day management of queries from drivers, customers, and clients at our depot in Wokingham. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a strong desire to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement organisational procedures related to planning, scheduling, and contracting duties
- Conduct administrative tasks, including responding to internal and external correspondence
- Analyse and optimise logistical procedures to ensure efficient operations
- Review, prepare, and route purchase orders to meet business needs
- Ensure drivers' schedules are managed effectively and run on time
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and customers to meet business objectives
- Supervise and organise orders of materials and equipment to support depot operations
- Collaborate with the accounts department using Sage 50 Accounts to ensure accurate financial management
