Job Title: Children's Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Children's Care Worker in Sutton Coldfield. As a key member of our residential service, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to young people, helping them to develop essential life skills and achieve their full potential.

About the Role:

  • Provide individualized support and care to young people, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and welcoming environment, encouraging positive relationships and behaviors.
  • Support young people in developing their skills and interests, including education and leisure activities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • NVQ or QCF level 3 in Children & Young People, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
